### 28,000 sq ft Warehouse Pad + Loading Dock

We stripped and proof-rolled the subgrade, replaced soft pockets, then placed Granular B and A in lifts with Proctor testing on every lift. Two loading dock pits were excavated and backfilled in phases so the existing building never lost a shipping door. Fixed-price contract, P.Eng stamped drawings, zero change orders.

### Plant Site Prep + Pipe Gallery

Every existing line was daylighted by hydrovac before the first cut. The pipe gallery trench was shored to the P.Eng design and dug in shifts around production. Excess soil was sampled and tracked by a Qualified Person under O. Reg. 406/19, and the gallery was handed to the mechanical contractor two days early.

### Rail-Adjacent Earthworks + Brownfield Soil Haul

Impacted soil was segregated, stockpiled on liners and tested before export, with every load tracked for the MOECP file. Cut and fill was balanced on site beyond the civil estimate, which cut export volume and cost. Work beside the rail corridor followed the railway setback and flagging requirements.

### Underpinning + Waterproofing, 6 ft 10 in to 9 ft 4 in

The quote went out 22 hours after the site visit. Pins were poured in engineered 1.2 m sequences with an inspection at each set, then the exterior was waterproofed and new weeping tile installed. The basement went from 6 ft 10 in to 9 ft 4 in and the job wrapped three weeks early.

### Heritage Semi Dig-Out + Party-Wall Underpinning

The party wall was underpinned in short engineered sections with a condition survey of the neighbour's side before and after. Soil left through a conveyor so no heavy machine touched the heritage brick. The finished basement has 10 ft ceilings, a new slab, weeping tile and XPS insulation.

### Victorian Semi Underpinning

A nervous neighbour received a written notice package and a walk-through of the P.Eng sequence before the permit was filed. The pre-construction condition survey documented their side of the wall. No objection, no stop-work order, and a basement that went from 6 ft 9 in to 8 ft 10 in.

North York

### Emergency Watermain Repair

The call came on a Sunday morning and a crew was on site within 3 hours. The hydrovac exposed the break without touching the gas line beside it, and a trenchless repair was finished by Tuesday. The property manager's adjuster was billed directly.

Etobicoke

### Basement Excavation + Exterior Waterproofing

The basement flooded every spring because groundwater sits close to the surface near Lake Ontario. We excavated the exterior, installed an elastomeric membrane, dimple board, new weeping tile and clear stone, and added a sump. Fixed price, and the house stayed dry through the next spring melt.

### Hydrovac + Sewer Lateral Replacement

The failed clay lateral ran within a hand-width of the gas service. Hydrovac exposed both lines safely, the lateral was replaced, and the front lawn was restored. Written quote the next morning, finished in two days.

Cabbagetown, Old Toronto

### Victorian Dig-Out + Underpinning

The 1890s house sits in a Heritage Conservation District. Complete P.Eng drawings got the permit through Toronto Building on first submission. A conveyor carried soil through a 0.8 m side yard to a street bin, and the basement now has 9 ft 6 in ceilings and a new slab.

## What Project Owners Say

> "We needed a 28,000 sq ft warehouse pad and two loading docks built while the existing building kept shipping. Pro Excavation Toronto gave us a fixed-price contract with P.Eng stamped drawings before we signed, and the 5-stage draw schedule matched our capital approvals. Their own 10-ton machines and dump trucks were on site the week after award, which our previous contractor never managed with rented gear. Every granular lift was Proctor tested and the reports landed in my inbox the same day. Truck traffic was phased around our shipping windows so we never lost a dock door. The pad passed the slab contractor's level check first time, with not one change order on a $1.1M job."

Facilities Director, GTA distribution warehouse, Mississauga

> "Our 1890s Victorian in Cabbagetown had a 6 ft basement and a heritage designation that scared off two other contractors. Their expeditor got the permit through Toronto Building in five weeks because the P.Eng drawings were complete on first submission. The dig-out used a conveyor through a 0.8 m side yard, so nothing heavy touched the heritage brick. We now have 9 ft 6 in ceilings, new weeping tile and a slab ready for the finishing trades."

> "Burst Sunday morning. On-site in 3 hours. Hydrovac located the break, trenchless repair by Tuesday. Insurance direct-billed through the portfolio adjuster."

Property Manager, North York

> "Mid-rise job off Yonge and Eglinton, a two-level excavation with a 1950s apartment building 1.4 m from our property line. Their P.Eng designed the soldier pile and lagging system, coordinated the tieback agreement and set monitoring points on the neighbour's wall before we broke ground. Readings came to my inbox daily and never moved past the alert threshold. The crew dug in lifts exactly to the shoring sequence, handled the dewatering discharge permit and tracked every truckload of excess soil. Having excavation and shoring under one contract saved us the usual finger-pointing between subs. Zero neighbour claims, zero WSIB incidents, and the parking level slab was poured on the original date."

Owen P.

Site Superintendent, mid-rise general contractor, Yonge-Eglinton

Project value $310K

> "Digging a pipe gallery through an operating plant is a nightmare if the contractor does not plan. Marko's team hydrovac daylighted every line before the first cut, shored the trench to the P.Eng design and worked in shifts around our production schedule. The MOECP paperwork for excess soil was handled by their Qualified Person, so our environmental lead had nothing to chase. Union-ready crew, clean site every evening, and the gallery was ready for the mechanical contractor two days early."

> "1920s semi with heritage brick. Marko's crew hit every structural detail. Zero cracks on the neighbour's party-wall side."
